2014 marks the 80th anniversary of Fujifilm holding's original founding. Today they have six main divisions:
1) Digital Imaging
2) Health Care
3) Highly Functional Materials
4) Graphics Systems
5) Optical Devices
6) Document Solutions
But of main interest to me is the Digital imaging division, Fujifilm Canada had their open house today which also marked the launch of the X-T1. All of the different Fuji cameras were there for people to try out but the star of the day would be the X-T1s.
They had about 6 X-T1s set up with various lenses to shoot a studio lit scene of a hockey goalie.
Food and drinks were also provided as well a mock up of some up-coming F2.8 constant zooms.
Here is a mock-up of the XF50-140mm F2.8 zoom.
The 50-140mm in comparison to the 55-200mm F3.5-4.8
Big things are happening at Fuji for 2014.
Thank you to Fujifilm Canada for inviting us in for a view.
