Great Lakes United Tall Ships Challenge Series 2010

The Tall Ships makes its only Canadian stop in Toronto this weekend.

Some of the 15 ships are already here. I was out last night to get a preview of the ships.

Tooks out the classic Nikon D2x camera out with the Sigma 10-20mm lens out to the Harbourfront to get some pics.

Calm before the storm

I was thinking about selling the Nikon D200 and decided to take it out for a spin to see what condition the camera was in as I had not used it for about a year and half.

The camera is working great. Now I am not sure I want to sell it...

Went out to see Fortress Toronto - it was like the calm before the storm.

Security fencing around Union Station

It sure was clean - there was no one out.

Someone needs to be fired for having the bright idea of having the G20 in Toronto. Oh - its only the weekend, and its all quiet during the weekend in the downtown core - right...Biggest bone headed move of the decade.

Waterloo Aviation Expo & Air Show

I haven't been posting any updates lately because I have been busy with some personal projects. I will tell you about it soon but for now it is not ready.

Now for something completely different from my usual photos...

Father's day weekend - forecast called for thunderstorms and rain. I headed out anyways - ran into some rain on the way but when I got there - it was sunny and hot.

I have never been to an airshow other than the annual one in Toronto during the closing weekend of the CNE. Will be on the look out for more shows around my area this year. It seemed I missed out on the CFB Borden show and I was out in the Barrie area on the Friday too!

Just a preview of more to come later.
