Bearing Witness
The official book launch party for Bearing Witness: Childbirth Stories Told by Doulas took place on September 30, 2010 at Parentbooks.
The book "is an anthology of 50 stories about doulas working with birthing families. Stories of joy, awe, miracles. Stories that are gut wrenchingly funny and stories that are sad and difficult to hear."
The book was edited by the two Lisas - Lisa Doran & Lisa Caron, two practicing Doulas from the Toronto area.
