Toronto Salsa Festival 2011

For over 86 years, the Palais Royale, overlooking Lake Ontario, has played hosts to great musicians, corporate and social affairs. During March 10-13, 2011 – the premier event venue played host to the 2nd annual Toronto Salsa Festival.

That weekend was a crazy weekend for me. I had booked myself for a fashion photography workshop with Joao Carlos - a Hasselblad Master while also committing myself to cover the festival. My original thinking was that the workshop would be during the day and the festival would take place at night. I guess I forgot about time for dinner and a rest between the end of the workshop and beginning of the festival performances. I don’t know how I made it but I got through both events and here are some of the images from the performances over the weekend.
