Bloor-Yorkdale BIA's 8th Annual Icefest
The Bloor-Yorkdale's Business Improvement Association's 8th Annual Icefest is two events in one. There were daily performances, free food, photo opportunities and the Ice Carving Competition.
I went there to the "magical Enhanted Garden" after hours to capture the Ice sculptures from the 13th Annual Sassafraz Ice Carving Competition. I was a little too late as some of the sculptures were not all in one piece due to the weather or other reasons.
The theme for the competition was "Wonderful & Whimsical" to be crafted from "an astonishing 35,000 lbs of ice".
