The Fujifilm X-Pro2 on assignment #2
To continue on from the last post about the X-Pro2. After capturing the Cosplay models at ComiCon – it was off to a 15 hour St. Paddy's Day day party for my next assignment.
This would be a run and gun shoot – no time for off-camera flashes, just an external flash on manual setting on the camera hotshoe.
The Amsterdam BrewHouse is located on Pier 4 of an old converted Boat house that has been modified into a 14,000 sq ft pub / micro brewery.

The party was put on by ElectriCITY Events and it was a St. Paddy's Day event but no green beer!

Having an external flash on the camera really throws the balance off and makes it really top heavy. Guess a camera designed for street photography isn't supposed to have a big external flash sitting on the top of the camera...
Coming out of assignment 2 - the 77 PDAF points really came in handy - not much issue with big lit subjects. When shooting with the X-T1 in the past - only the PDAF points could handle back lit subjects and there was only 9 of them in the middle of the frame.
Not much issues with the X-Pro2 with the 18-55mm kit lens on assignment #2. These images were shot as jpg and minor processing in Lightroom.
